Figure is shown the daily energy consumption of  HVAC in new mechanical building. According to graph of energy consumption for HVAC, energy consumption is slightly higher than average energy consumption from 8 a.m.- 10 a.m. It may be due to switching on the air conditioners in the morning and more energy is consumed in air conditioner to reach to the desired conditions. It can be found from figure  that energy consumption is higher than average energy consumption from 10a.m.- 4 p.m. due to the more increase of room temperature with solar radiation gain. Energy consumed is reduce with the normal  reduction in solar radiation after 4 p.m.

 

 

Energy consumption of CAD laboratory

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Figure  is shown the daily energy consumption of  CAD laboratory. According to graph of energy consumption for CAD laboratory, from 8 a.m.- 8.45 a.m. there is an sudden increase of energy demand due to the switching on of all Computers in Laboratory by control persons and student are used to use computer before attending to the morning lecture. It can be found from figure  that sudden increases of energy demand  at about 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. It may be due to increase of number of users because students are free after lectures and during lunch time. This energy increase is continue with time because after the lecture most students are using CAD laboratory and practical schedule.

Influence of HVAC load is high for the energy consumption of new mechanical building. This energy consumption pattern tally with the that of HVAC load until 12 p.m. after that there are some deviations of energy consumption pattern of new mechanical building with energy consumption pattern of HVAC load. Above mentioned variation is due to lighting load and CNC machine shop.

In CNC shop the work is mainly done in morning time and evening work is not distributed much thats why in morning time too much of energy consumed

 

Energy consumption of Machine shop

To evaluate the energy consumption of the machine shop, usage schedule and type of machine used at particular time interval must be considered. Each schedule  and usage of machines during schedule is collected through a survey with the assistant of technical officers and machine operators. Survey results are shown in Appendix 8. The energy consumption is hardly exceeds the 2 kW values due to the increase of usage of lathe machines and sudden small increase of energy consumption during some time intervals are due to usage of one of other machines such as drilling machine, milling machine, shaping machine and grinder.
