Machine shop is one of the common workshop which is used by Mechanical, Electrical, Textile, Earth resources engineering students and NDT students for their academic and project related purposes. Jobs have being done for weekdays, Saturdays and sometimes overtimes depends on workload.  There are lathe machines, Planer machines, Universal milling machines, grinders, Radial Arm Drilling machine, Furnace of Heat treatment and other equipments. 

Due to high number of lathe machines and job quantity lathe machines are the major consumption unit for machine shop as well as many of the university academic related work is mainly considers lathe machineries. Even though Furnace is higher load but it is used only once or twice per year. In machine shop also outside works have been done here.
